Bioplastics:
Refers to plastics formed by biological action under the action of microorganisms such as bacteria and enzymes. It is a general term for Bio-based plastics and Biodegradable plastics.
Bio-based plastics:
Refers to plastics which is made from starch, soybean, cellulose, lignin, vegetable oil, and other renewable resources, and they pay attention to the bio-source and renewable properties of the raw materials. Such plastics include degradable plastics but also non-degradable plastics.
Biodegradable plastics:
Refers to plastics that can be degraded under certain conditions by microorganisms existing in nature, such as bacteria, molds and algae, and eventually become water or carbon dioxide and other small molecules into the natural circulation.
